Highlights
We are showcasing the collaborative palletizing robot "Palletizy" equipped with the new "AutoLayout" feature.
Thanks to proprietary software development, the traditional teaching tasks performed by specialized technicians for palletizing robots are no longer necessary. Instead, the robot can be easily operated via a touch panel. By entering the sizes of cardboard boxes and pallets on the touch panel located on the robot's side and pressing the "AutoLayout" button, multiple optimal stacking configurations are automatically generated. The input values are immediately displayed in a 3D model, making it visually easy to understand. This feature allows on-site personnel to set up and automate the robot without the need for specialized technicians. Additionally, as Palletizy is a collaborative robot, it does not require safety measures or anchor installations and can be moved around on casters, making it flexible for adjustments to production lines. It is anticipated to address labor shortages in the food industry. Beyond the food industry, there is also significant interest from the logistics sector, and future plans include adapting it for depalletizing and pallet changing for logistics applications.
In addition to Palletizy, which supports the automation of small to medium-sized shipping lines, we are also showcasing "PickPacker," which automates the picking of small bags of cooked noodles on packaging lines.
