The ULTRA/ UHS-II model slitter rewinder has all the features for high end converting of flexible packaging materials as well as label stock. Razor slitting in groove or air is offered in its standard configuration. Shear slitting systems are optional, offered with manual, semi or fully automatic position control. Three AC Vector Drives, automatic tension control on unwind and rewind through easy-to-use Siemens PLC & MMI touch screen, ensure optimum finished roll quality.
The machine features an S-wrap transport section with vacuum roller for stable and slip free web transport during acceleration and deceleration. The ULTRA/ UHS-II series slitter rewinders are offered in widths of 1300mm, 1600mm and 1800mm at speeds up to 600 m/min. To offer customer different solution, the ULTRA/ UHS-II coming with 2 different web path, the OVERHEAD version& PLATFORM version, also lay-on roller with TOP& Pendulum design to suitable for different substrate tension request.

We offer a variety of rewind friction shafts with quick locks to cover your slitting needs: 40, 50, 80 or 100mm minimum slit width, offered in 3” or 6”. Automatic knife positioning down to 25 mm slit width, double turret unwind, automated finished roll unloading systems are some of the available options to increase productivity, quality and decreasing operator influenced down time.

Roll Changing Sequence
The roll changing sequence is as follows:
1. Roll Reaches set meter count, machine slows down & stops
2. Turret Rotates into position.
3. Operator places the unloading trolley in position (if not, machine stops)
4. Lay-On Roller comes down on new core.
5. Knife gets into position and cuts web
6. Machine starts up slitting operation
7. Machine pushes finish roll off turret.
8. Operator replaces core.
9. Press button to tell machine everything is ready for next roll change
Slitting Section
ULTRA TURRET /UHS-TR model features fully automatic tension control and user-friendly human-machine interface for easy operation. The machine is equipped with five independent motors, allowing for different directions of winding on the upper and lower rewind shafts. In addition to Razor cut system and Shear Knife (circular knife) systems, the cutting section can be complemented with an automatic knife positioning system to reduce manual errors in blade positioning. Customers can choose different slitting systems based on material characteristics and thickness.

To enhance the working efficiency, the ULTRA TURRET /UHS-TR model offers optional function, automatic unloading system with pick-up table, the automatic paper core set up system, transforming the machine into a fully automated system.
