DMA Electronic Engraving System R10-16SA
- NEW
- DEMO
Electronic engraving machine MDA‣R10-16SA for gravure cylinder, an engraving machine equipped with the latest technology that has never been seen before, is a gem that can handle not well only color engraving but also specially very fine text.
Inovex Color Blending System
- NEW
- DEMO
Inovex explosion-proof color blending system
The current situation in the gravure industry (converters) is that it is much more difficult than before to secure profit margins, even if sales do not decrease, due to rising procurement costs. It is also difficult to secure manpower. Under such circumstances, Orion Shoji has been receiving an increasing number of inquiries from users about this color mixer, which can reduce ink residues and compensate for the lack of manpower.
The Inovex (UK) fully automatic gravure ink blender for color blends 12~36 colors (explosion proof) is an automatic compact dispenser designed to dispense small to maximum 250 kg batches from 20 kg buckets to 200 kg drums with an accuracy of approximately +1 gram. Dispensing is directly controlled by a PLC linked to a host PC containing all material and formulation data. A high-precision stainless steel filling valve is installed above the weight scale. The nozzle outlet is easily maintained by washing and removing ink from the nozzle surface after filling, eliminating the risk of nozzle clogging.
The integration with various CCMs (computer color matching) greatly contributes to factory productivity and efficiency.
Fasnacht viscosity control system S6-FB

3 Component blending machine for Dry laminate
- NEW
- DEMO
Automatic three-component blender
Orion Shoji's original equipment will be on display, including an “automatic three-component blender” for dry laminating adhesives, anchor coatings for extrusion laminating, and coating solutions for various coatings.
In the processes of dry lamination and various coatings (gravure coating, roll coating, etc.), it is important to properly control the circulation route of the mixture of basic glue, hardener, and solvent in order to improve the film thickness stability accuracy of the coating liquid applied to the base material. How this circulation is managed will greatly affect the stability of the adhesive liquid in the case of dry lamination, i.e., the stability of the film thickness after the solvent volatilizes from the applied adhesive, or the stability of the coating film thickness in the case of various types of coatings. Quality is further improved by integration with the FASNAC viscosity control system described in the previous section.
In the automatic three-liquid blender, the blending ratio of the main agent, hardener, and solvent, the amount of blending liquid, and the agitation time are set in advance, and by simply pressing the operation button, the raw materials are automatically suctioned by a diaphragm pump in sequence according to the blending ratio, weighed by an explosion-proof electronic scale, sent to the blending tank, and the agitator blades in the tank rotate. The mixing liquid is then sent to the receiving tank, where it is continuously and stably supplied to the user, who replenishes it as it is consumed.
Heiman Microscope CheckmasterII
- NEW
- DEMO
Heimann's Cell measuring devise Check Master II microscope for checking the cell shape of gravure printing plates combines an image processing system with a high-precision video microscope.
Operation is done with a mouse and keyboard, the program is compatible with Windows 10, and the microscope is designed to ensure perforability (images remain sharp even when the objective lens is changed) and to greatly simplify operation with motor-driven coarse and fine focusing.
The sum of all pixels covered by a cell represents the surface, and the length and width of the cell are determined and output as vertical and horizontal diagonals. Measured cells are automatically highlighted blue on the monitor and can be visually confirmed.
The screen size is determined by the position of the cell relative to its neighbors, and depth is automatically determined by focusing on the surface (zero point) and the bottom of the cell; Improved Focus Control (IFC) and trend bars support depth measurements.
When performing automatic “cylinder measurements,” all measurements and images are saved. These can be saved for future checks and repeat measurements of surfaces and diagonals.
